The fortunate faithful at CLASH AT THE BASH 2 were left in shock following a radical development which saw the reinstatement of Matthew Palmer – the culmination of a ruse brilliantly constructed by “The Centerfold” along with “The Bionic Beast” Franco D’Angelo and “The Wrestling Goddess” Athena. What was set to be a match between D’Angelo and Athena spiraled out of control when Palmer appeared from out of the pageantry and attacked Franco. The brawl was eventually broken up with help from the locker room, but later on in the evening Franco would emerge to voice grievances that the company would allow the attack to occur. From there, D’Angelo bullied Inspire Pro CEO Justin Bissonnette into reinstating Palmer so that D’Angelo could get his hands on him. Palmer once again stormed the ring, and just as they were about to clash, the two dropped their hands and engaged in a brotherly embrace. And thus, Palmer is once again back in Inspire Pro, much to the chagrin of certain individuals.

Palmer left us with some choice words at our last event, which suggest that his matters with Inspire Pro Champion Andy Dalton are far from over. Meanwhile, Franco still has a hunger for gold and his eyes are set on a specific prize: namely, the INSPIRE PRO TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP BELTS. With a one-night tournament scheduled for the Fall of 2015, a number of teams have already been selected for the event. However, THE CENTER OF PERFECTION intends to kick down the doors of the tag division and make a statement on August 9th. Palmer and D’Angelo have demanded a tag match with anyone on the roster, and their opponents have been selected. At FADE TO BLACK, THE CENTER OF PERFECTION will meet none other than THE PUMP PATROL.

Swole as always, The Pump Patrol has yet to notch a win since their return. While Curt and Jared have been pegged by many as the underdogs in this contest, they’ve already upped their regiment. According to the Pumps, they have adopted a new mantra, “more whey and ALL the weights.” A victory against Palmer and Franco would PUMP UP their momentum headed into the tag tournament, and they’re very aware of that.. Following their loss to the House of Wolves several months ago, The Pump Patrol is re-focused and their hunger goes deeper than previously thought. Just how far are they willing to go to secure a win at FADE TO BLACK? We’ll see on August 9th. Don’t miss this first time tag team encounter.
